Carri,

So glad to have you with us, but as we say, sorry you had to find us in this
way. A psychologist is not a bad idea. It helps you deal will those
skeptical people. My husband has been that way (thinking it's my head) since
I have seen a lot of recovery. Of course when it first happened there was no
mistaking that something was wrong....I couldn't walk. Even then at first, he
thought it was all in my head. Boy was he mistaken! But now he can't see
past the appearance of normalcy. Like when I'm tired all the time. He thinks
it's just laziness. Or when I stumble much more than before, or my legs give
out, he thinks it's just clumsiness. Maybe I should see a psych as well.

The group has aloud me to vent and let me know that there are people out there
that know how I feel. I don't post much since being back at work after 3 long
months, just haven't got the time and too tired. But reading the postings
from others is sometimes just what I need. Keep up with the PT. I know that
it gets discouraging when your going through a lull, but it really helped me
to gain my strength, balance and momentum.

Would like to respond to your windows 98 troubles. Have upgraded to that as
well, and been having nothing but problems here. I am in no way a PC expert,
but I feel I have enough experience to when it's not just me. Also my
husband, who is somewhat smart than me when it comes to computers, and has a
better system has been complaining about the windows 98 program as well.
Wondering if is all it's cracked up to be? Maybe someone else has some info
on that.

Anyway, glad to have you with us Carri and hang in there.

Kim
