I've read the various responses that have been sent
your way and they were all correct in their statements
about how depression affects us after the onset of tm.
But, your statement of the meds that he is on at this
time would make it seem that it may not be depression
as much as it is medications. I think that you will see
a marked improvement as he is weaned from some of
those. I do agree with the idea that you let his doctors
know what is going on. They can't help if they don't know
how he is acting(reacting) while on the meds.
He is lucky to have you, don't forget that part of the mes-
sages that you have received. Our hearts go out to both
of you as we have all been there, whether as the patient
or the caregiver.
