I often have stated that I think a disease like TM may be harder on a loving
spouse than on the patient. You want to help, and it is out of your hands.
My hubby is my rock, but I know this has not been easy. I went on
anti-depressants when I realized I could find know reason to go on, not even
for the people who love me and who I love. Getting the depression under
control helped both of us alot.
Give your hubby a little time - I was in the hospital almost a month, and it
was weird when I got out. It was hard and more than a bit frightening being
back in the real world. I imagine that it is even more intense after being
in the hospital for six months.
Hope some of this helped. Keep us informed. We do care. Ann
