Hi Nancy,
When I sweat I am hot and I have low grade fevers of ~0.6-0.9 F degrees more than
the normal temperature. When we sweat our temperature lowers. Oral temperature is
less affected and rectal is not affected by sweating. I have seen people,
specially old people, having normal temperature measured at the armpit and
burning when measured rectally. So I suggest that you measure your temperature
orally (under the sides off the tongue). When you do this please inform me as I
also sweat and I have low grade fevers.
Happy New Year
