JanH here. If your hubby does come down with the flu
there is a medication you can take (within 48 hrs of
onset of flu) that will offer you some protection. I'm
taking it now as a preventive since I cannot take the flu
shots. It's usually given today to Parkinson's sufferers
for fighting fatigue so it's serving a dual purpose with me.
Suppose it's available in U.K. too. It is a prescription drug
so your doc would have to prescribe for you. Brand name:
Symmetrel, Generic name: Amandatine
