Hello Connie and Alan,
Many times since I started to get some recovery I have thought have I
reached a Plateau, but No, thankfully. I still see some improvements as
time goes on, sometimes ever so small and others bigger or more easily
recognizable. Incidentally it is five years today since I was taken to
Hospital feeling very sore and unable to walk properly, only to be sent home
and to get further checks over the next couple of days. Paralysis finally
set in at about 1.30 pm Friday 31 December 1993. My first symptom was at
6.00am Tuesday 28 December 1993 while I was drying myself after my morning
shower, with very severe pains from my Sternum right around to my spinal
area on both sides of my body. But I have come a long way since then.

Regards from Errol, Narnagba, Queensland Australia. ( On another very very
hot summers day.).
