Hello,
Thanks to you all again. I still know nothing new . I spent 8 hours on
the phone from my hosp. bed calling about insurance...which didn't do
much for pain relief.
I guess the dr is still trying to get me transferred. I have had a
really bad day and your support means a lot right now.
If I listen to my drs, my future looks pretty bleak. The choice I have
been given are prodedures that would a) possibly kill me (3-4 % chance
of complications leading to death) - or a procedure that would preclude
my ever being able to eat again, by mouth. We are all hoping that we
can get me some place where they can figure something else out. If I
were forced to stay here all they could do is keep me on TPN.

Well, didn't mean to sound depressed. It is a little rough. I spent my
birthday in oct. in the hospital, and thanksgiving (being unable to
eat)....I really was hoping to be home by Christmas. But, oh well, that
boat has sailed.

Sorry to sound so gloomy...I know I am more fortunate than many.
And I feel so fortunate to know all of you!
