Hi and welcome. I too have it easy compared to lots of people here. I was
diagnosed April 98 after 4 months of hearing many different things inlcuding
MS. I also had the "electrical shock" but referred to it as "vibrating" I
could bend my head and the vibrating would start in both legs and shoot out my
feet. It irritated the hell out of my husband because I kept doing it for
fun! It did go away, though. I think it lasted less than a month but really
don't remember too much. I now am having a tiny bit of that in my arms.

I had the spinal tap. I think the MRIs were worse than the tap so you'll be
fine if you have it. The spinal tap is what led one neuro to dx MS but later
I was told TM since only 1 lesion. I had no "swelling" of the cord anywhere.
