You should talk to your neuro about getting off the steroids...
I have my problem at the T8 - T9 level and after >SERIOUS< rehab over about
4-6 months I could walk with crutches.. Today my feet are partially numb,
my feet, lower legs, and upper legs are still paralyzed to a degree.. I
still have problems with controlling my bowels and bladder... When I get
the signal to go, I HAVE to go right then or leakage will occur... Because
of the numb/partially paralyzed feet, I have definite problems with my
balance and therefore walk with a walking stick when out of the house...
I take no drugs but I do take a lot of vitamins and eat a very simple diet
and feel that I am very slowly making progress...
Sorry I ran on about this but your use of steroids concerns me...
I hope you and yours and everyone on the list has a Happy Holiday.
