Annie:
Sorry I couldn't respond until now. I get these recurring chronic
symptoms all the time. They make me anxious but really mean nothing.
My neuro thinks they all relate to my one lesion and, if they are
coming, form somewhere else, they're pretty "benign" and nothing to
worry about.
In fact, my thumb has been twitching all day. I always think "is this
the beginning of a relapse" and it hasn't happened. I've been worrying
about this for 5 years.
My advice is to try to relax and realize that things could be (probably
were) a lot worse. If it's really getting to you, go see your neuro
(unless he/she's an alarmist).
If the anxiety is getting to you, you should see a psychiatrist to help
you deal with the anxiety. I found that once I treated my anxiety, my
symptoms subsided (maybe I stopped dwelling on them) and I don't get as
nervous when they pop up.

Good luck and HAPPY Holidays
