It's wonderful that Alan is walking in his house
at four months!! Improvement is a VERY slow
process! it seems to come in spurts, really (I
think) when you least expect it. This may be be-
cause you're not looking for it, as in 'a watched
pot never boils'. I do know that I had little improve-
ment if I allowed myself to become fatigued. It
seems that sleep is necessary--I mean more sleep
than usual as in 10-12 hours.
I can understand how concerned you are but stress
of worrying about 'how much better will he get' is not
useful!! Rather look at it as 'see how much he has
regained'! Alan will feel better about his progress
and so will you! Again as I said upfront--4 months
is very early in tm recovery.
Hope you can let him know that we are glad he is
doing well and we are all pulling for him!
