Hi all,
I can't do this stuff because it causes seizures for me. Found out the hard
way many years ago. Was drinking Crystal Light by the gallon-ful everyday.
Seizure activity was way up and my ex and I thought it was do to long and
strenous hours put in at work. We watched 20/20 one night about Nutrasweet
and he said I wonder if that might be the cause of your increased seizures. Of
course I said no way, it's work. At the time, there were so many unknown side
affects and some that where known where very dangerous, unfortunately can't
remember all know. Well, Reader's Digest came out with an article on aspartme
that month and it said "specifically" that it causes can cause seizures and
persons with seizures should not take it. Mind you I keep a very close journal
for my epilepsy and had been reporting everything to my neuro including what
my ex had thought. Of course she said no correlation, ROFL! When he read that
article to me, I stopped drinking the Crystal light and anything with
nutrasweet in it and you guessed it. Seizures decreased.
By the way, I though I remembered something a while back that this was not
passed by the FDA? Am I wrong? Curiouser and couriouser...
