I sent this letter to Alex regarding his website on Disabilities.. Here's his
reply he sent to me.. I thought you would be interested in his comments,
especially regarding our website Suzie in Seattle where it SNOWED last night,
Maria and Mary; Hi there! I certainly enjoyed visiting your website... Just
an added note, however.. Are you aware that there is an internet support group
and club devoted entirely to a disease which affects the spinal cord ,
Transverse Myelitis.?
TM has been called by many as a precursor to MS.. I thought perhaps you might
want to join (it is free).. I know you would be a valued addition to our over
1000 members.. and if you already know about this website, please excuse my
intrusion into your day.
My brother in law was diagnosed in July with TM... I immediately started doing
research on the disease via the web....Bingo, I found the TM internet club..
Since that time I have found the members to be truly courageous and
inspirational as well as informative about spinal cord injuries and diseases..
Many of the members have been diagnosed with MS, only to find out later that
they have TM.. vice versa. The difference being, with MS there are multiple
lesions..TM you only have one.
