I have not written in a while. It has been very busy around here. I am
finding it very hard to juggle everything, work, family and fatigue. Anyway,
I am not writing about me today.
I am high school teacher. Currently I have a 14 year old boy in one of my
classes who is having an extremely difficult time in school. His mother was
diagnosed with MS a year ago and it is progressing very rapidly. She is
already wheel chair bound.
He is very depressed and feels an unbelievable responsibility to take care of
his sister in addition to worrying about his mother. I know some of you out
there have been diagnosed with MS. Does anyone know of any web site support
groups for him. I am sure there are things out there like this group. I
really would like to help him. He is a really nice kid and he tugs at my
heart everytime I see him. If you can think of other ways that he can get
help or his teachers can assist him please let me know also. Thanks for the
help.
By the way even though I have not been responding, I have been reading the
listings. You guys are wonderful and have been great support. Happy Holidays
