Okay... some more details on what I heard. My sister' s friend (Mike) got
vasculitis and some other odd afflictions and spent several months in a very
well noted NY hospital (can't remember which). The doc he saw was supposedly
the expert in the world. Mike has been taking neurontin I think for a couple
years and swears by it. She said that they (the ominous "they") found out
after giving it to epileptics, that they actually saw regrowth of the myelin.
Before everyone jumps on this, I know that myelin will naturally grow back.
So, that is what I was told by her. I will try to question her some more
about this and see if she can give me something to back this up. I was
doubtful about this information too.
