Marc...Having had TM re 16 mo now, I'm not sure that one is ever
entirely free of these Sx. Has your neurologist adjusted the dosages of
the various meds you are taking...the dosage required for moderating the
Sx varies greatly from person to person. I, too. am in a wheelchair, my
TM is at the T-5 level. I noticed that I had great spasticity and
tightness one day and then the tingling and burning the next...this has
been the pattern since re 3 mo after my TM onset. I had a baclofin
pump implanted the end of Oct as the spasticity was not controlled
adequately with oral medication and interferred with my transfers and
other self care. An unexpected plus has been that the tingling and
burning has gone from nearly unbearable ( I would be in tears by the end
of the day ) to merely annoying.
If you get any " words of wisdom" from my ramblings, have at it.
