I have had TM for about 6 months now. I am using
Tegretol, Neuronton and Amitriptylin to control the feelings I am getting on my
chest and sides around my T4 vertebrae (my TM "break"), but none are
working. I get either severe tingling sensations (pins and needles) or I can
feel the vibration of the motors in the house (like the refrigerator) through
our solid floors and my wheelchair. Also, when I wake up from naps in the
afternoon, it often feels as if my shirt is burning my chest like it was soaked
in vinegar. This happens at night infrequently. Washing my chest and putting on
a new shirt solves this problem. Nothing I've tried yet works, such as these
medicines, washing my chest, new shirts, no shirt, and lotion on my chest. Any
ideas on how to get rid of these very disturbing
symptoms?
