I do not know if you all remember me...I had just joined the group when
I was hospitalized. I was in the hosp for one week, th then back home
for one week, then back for over a month. Not my longest stay, but
quite long enough...as I am sure everyone here knows.
Anyway, I had asked is anyone else had intestinal problems. I ended up
having a full laparotomy and my surgeon said my stomach and intestines
had the appearance and felt like those of a person with a spinal cord
injury (I am almost completely paralized below the waist), so that
explained the symptoms. I am now home on continuous tube feedings and
have an indwelling "peg" tube.
Well, one of the thinigs I really missed in the hosp. was this group!
Thank you all for being there and being so inspirational! I look
forward to re-joining this group often as I can borrow this laptop :-)
(I am still on bed rest and hooked up to my friend, the pump :-)
