I asked my pharmacist about whether zoloft would help with neural
transmissions in the spinal cord. I told her it was prescribed to me not for
depression but for a spinal cord problem. She said that it is possible
because what it does is increase the levels of serotonin around the spinal
cord. I don't fully understand the explanation, but I assume there are some
more medically savy people out there who would. I have been on the zoloft for
one week now, and have not noticed any difference yet. My neuro and the
pharmicist said it may take a couple weeks.
