When I responded to your note I was responding to a number of things that had
been said in general on this thread, not just to your note. In that case I
guess maybe it would've been clearer if I had just put in the tmic-list
address rather than hitting "reply" to include your address and quoting from
your note. Someone several notes back said something about neuros thinking
they are deity or near it...I tried to look back at his note just now to see
how he worded it, but I'd already deleted it off my personal files and "sent
mail", so I couldn't. All of what had been said had been coagulating in my
thoughts, so when I responded, I was writing from all of the thoughts that had
been percolating, not just your note. I apologize, I did not mean to imply
that you personally thought of doctors as a stand-in for God or anything like
that. I was talking of patients in general and neuros in general.

I had decided earlier not to comment on this subject any more and lay low and
not flap my gums so much, but I did want to, hopefully, clear the air here.
What started days ago as a friendly, "Hey, guys, let's look at their side of it
and the whole picture here" type of thought has somehow gotten muddled and
misinterpreted and the more I try to explain myself, the more of a mess it
becomes. So I will now shut up.
