I have a hard time with the 80% figure. As many of you know, I did and
still
sometimes do, make a living evaluating individuals with physical and
mental
disabilities to determine if they can work. I have/do see a lots of
folks
with back problems, probably 80% of those I see, but they are typically
laborers of some sort. Industrial settings and nursing are very
prevalent
places for injuries. Not too many Docs, lawyers, judges, etc with bad
backs unless they got it playing sports or something.
Just my pennies worth.
