<< One neuro doc I know of believes that tm is a "one-shot"
deal and any recurrences mean it was ms all along,and was misdiagnosed
to start with.Any thoughts on this? >>
Having experienced 6 relapses of TM---I would sure hate to think I have MS
instead of TM... My argument against MS is that all the relapses have always
reoccured at the original site...T-10.... But I cannot deny that there have
been times, esppecially with the last few attacks...when it feels as if the
paralysis has a mind of its own.. and wants to "travel to other areas" but the
immediate infusion of Solumedrol seems to halt the progression from going into
my arms etc...and I am usually left after the onset with the same symptoms and
loss of function as in 1989...
I'm no doctor... but I would think since the reoccurances remain at the same
initial site as in 1989...I would think that it is TM...described as "single
sclerosis..." Wouldn't ya think with "multiple sclerosis" my symptoms and
loss of function would be different each time around? {Just a lay person's
simple view of things....}
Besides... Lupus and MS would be a pretty tough candle to bear...I prefer to
see the brighter sides of things...
