Bob - My myelitis is at C1-C2, but I have a herniated disk at C 5-6. My
tingling and numbness have gotten much worse in my legs since the disk
started acting up. Both the neurologist and the neurosurgeon feel that the
herniated disk could be causing the worsening in symptoms. My understanding
is that an injury to the spine can affect anything from that site on down.
Its also true that different points on the spine are more likely to affect
different areas. Ann
