Zicong - Welcome to the list - this is a good place to come for comfort and
support. I don't have any exercises to recommend for your mother, but I am
sure that other people on the list will. Each person with myelitis has a
different amount of recovery. Your mother is still early in her recovery.
I continued to have significant recovery for 18 months. You can help your
mother by not letting her get too tired. Being tired makes everything
worse. If she can continue on her job, she may be very tired in the
evenings and on weekends, and may need other family members to help her with
her everyday tasks. Please tell your mom that she now has lots of new
friends from all over the world, and that our thoughts are with her and your
family. Please let us know how she is doing, and ask the group any
questions you have. Many of the people who are on this list are family
members of people with myelitis. Ann
