Hi Al's Mom & Al,
Congrats on the recovery thus far and the positveness! It will take you far.
It sounds like all of the support you all are giving each other is tremendous
and certainly substantial.
I was not affected to the point that Al was, but was told from all of the
great people on this list that the window of recovery is 12-24 months give or
take. I have never had to self cathe but have had bladder and bowel probs at
onset and post TM. I can say now after 8 months that bladder and bowel has
gotten much better, although not back to where it was pre-TM.
Recovery is different for all, so never loose hope or the positiveness you all
are diplaying for each other and Al!
Keep us posted and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
