Hi Jane,
I am bothered by the cold in several ways. Since having TM, I have poor
circulation in my legs. If I sit cross-legged for awhile, my legs feel cold
and fall asleep. I hate that tingling "pins and needles" feeling. My feet
and legs feel cool to the touch in the winter. When I am caught without
something to keep me warm, I can hardly walk. I must have a jacket or I get
very stiff, my legs seem to have a mind of their own. I must walk very slow,
so I don't trip. One thing that I notice, I seem to get cold faster than
anyone else. I could have a sweater on and still feel chilly, my friends are
wearing t-shirts and don't feel cold at all?!? Is there anyone else like
this? I am not bothered by the heat physically, sometimes when it gets real
HOT my energy level drops. But it doesn't stop me, like the cold can.
