Jane,

I am VERY sensitive to cold, and I used to be the person who was always hotter
than everyone else. My left hand is particularly sensitive -- I remember the
first winter driving with my left hand under my right armpit, trying to get it
warm. In fact, before even going to the hospital with TM, I remember leaning
my head on my arm on a countertop and pulling back, startled, because it felt
cold to that arm. That hand and arm are better now, but cold in general makes
me much stiffer.

As for pain, I had some in my arm at onset that became quite intense and then
eased up. I don't experience it much in my upper arm any more, but I do in my
hand. I have back pain that was not there at onset but showed up several days
later and now comes and goes.
