Fellow eyegive members:
Welcome to the second eyegive newsletter promoting our merchant offers that
help you help Transverse Myelitis Association. This is a different letter than
our list with updates on your stats and other news. It is designed to
introduce you to the benefits of shopping with us at shop.eyegive, illustrated
today with my story of getting out of trouble with my wife.
But first, I want to thank the great many of you who responded to last
month's Music Boulevard offer. Eyegive members raised over $1100 in one
single week for their worthy causes, while saving time and money on great CDs.
Thanks, all!
Second, forwarding this e-mail to friends is an easy way to refer new
supporters for Transverse Myelitis Association. The more supporters, the more
successful
your cause will be with eyegive. Sending along this e-mail helps!
We have a new offer from Reel.com starting 11/17 that's only good through
Thanksgiving eve: 5% to your cause on any purchase, and **FREE SHIPPING**
(U.S. only). I just bought three great comedy classics from their store,
and I can tell you it is a great store. Fun shopping, easy, and good values.
The free shipping is a $5.85 savings over my 'typical' order of $27.97, which
is great. And with the 5% donation, $1.40 goes to our cause. Videos make
wonderful gifts -- it's wonderful to have a good movie on hand on a rainy
day -- and this offer is quite nice. Please check out Reel.com by first
visiting us at http://shop.eyegive.com .
OK. How I shopped my way out of trouble at eyegive.com:
I missed my wife's birthday. I really messed up.
She was pretty forgiving, but said, 'you could have at least gotten
flowers.' I was travelling, and that wasn't easy.
I went online to GreatFlowers.com from the eyegive mall, and found the Fall
Bouquet for $39.95. As I was in trouble big time, I went for the Deluxe at
$69.95. It shipped the next day, and she was delighted.
The bouquets came in two large boxes, which were lined with Styrofoam and
chilled with re-usable ice packs. (Good for golf injuries -- see below.)
The flowers were fresh and gorgeous - daisies, roses, and a bunch more I
can't name (guy thing, like missing a birthday) - and came with a vase,
plant food solution, and full instructions. And the size was very very
generous - in my opinion a great value. They've been here a week, and look
prettier than ever.
We both support her favorite cause which is a Pet Rescue group here in our
small town, and it didn't hurt my cause that of the purchase price,
$2.45 went to the rescue group. That's the beauty of the eyegive mall: by
buying the flowers I had to buy anyway, I helped her favorite cause.
So as Thanksgiving approaches -- one of the peak seasons for sending
flowers -- why not check the values at GreatFlowers by visiting our mall at
http://shop.eyegive.com and clicking to GreatFlowers. You'll be impressed.
And you'll be helping Transverse Myelitis Association.
Right now, GreatFlowers is offering $5 off your first order, so this is an
especially good time to give them a try.
Now, to help our members with a balanced viewpoint, I decided to check out
our sporting goods supplier, Fogdog, and I was very pleasantly surprised
again.
The sport I know prices on backwards and forwards is golf, so I checked out
their golf balls. The prices were BETTER than the discount golf stores I
have to drive miles to get to, there is FREE shipping, and 10% goes to our
cause. Another $11.80 to our Pet Rescue center, and I am saving money and
time in the process.
I'll be helping a pet every time I swing, I figure.
And now I have ice packs for the aches and pains that follow a long round.
Golf balls, hey, I go through a lot, so why not buy them from a merchant
that supports our cause?
Please do check out the great merchants on shop.eyegive when you think of
sending flowers or of gifts this holiday season, or for that matter, when
you think of buying anything! Just visit http://www.eyegive.com and see how
many great deals you can find on stuff you are going to buy anyway, with
merchants whose money goes to Transverse Myelitis Association.
And please do remember to refer your friends to this great opportunity.
This is a great reason for people to join eyegive. Send your friends an
e-mail with this link:
http://www.eyegive.com/html/ssi.cfm?cid=3417&mid=26394
They'll automatically support Transverse Myelitis Association when they
register.
For every new eyegive member you send, $2 will go to
Transverse Myelitis Association when they register, and more money for every
product
they buy through eyegive.
(Hint: You can just forward this e-mail.)
Thanks in advance!
