a

so
I don't know. >>

Hmmmm... How interesting....I was also affected in September also.. .Can't
remember if it was the holiday, since it was almost 10 years ago... But I do
have one thing to throw in--just curious about everyone else....

With the Systemic Lupus I have to avoid the sun...But-- I LOVE the sun and
spent whatever time I wasn't in a "business suit" in a "bathing suit" (or
shorts) from April to early October in the So. California sun...And frankly
didn't think the sun could affect me THAT MUCH as I had spent every waking
hour in it since I was about 13...

After about 3 summers in a row-- after my TM diagnosis....I received a VERY
stern warning from my doctors as they noticed a pattern of my accumulated
hours of "SUN EXPOSURE" to my hospitalizations... I just couldn't hide that
deep golden tan...ŸÀŸ BUT--Now that I avoid the sun like the plague... I
found that I have cut down immensely on my life threatening "fights for my
life" in the hospital.

Hmmmm... I wonder if the sun exposure plays any part in the inflammation of
the spine in TM????? For some years I was stubborn and didn't believe that
the sun could affect me so adversely...but now after avoiding it... I have to
say....The docs were right! I am very curious, now, about others habits
during the summer... gardening.. hiking.. biking.. camping...all accumulated
time in the sun... Hmmm..I wonder if there is any connection to the many
diagnosis between May and September---All SUNNY MONTHS!!
