Ken - I am in San Antonio.
As far as stress, I was about as stressed-out as possible during the onset of
my TM. My dad was in the hospital with cancer, I was unhappy in my marriage
(still in that marriage, though) and was working 10 hour days and spending 20
hours or more per week and all weekend at the hospital.
Sensitivity - oh, God! I sometimes can't stand the feeling of my clothes on my
body. I also have a "crawling" feeling on my head a lot of times but that
doesn't really bother me. I am very sensitive to sounds that are particularly
"rough" or "hard." My legs go numb much more easily than the used to but I
don't know if that is related.
Someone mentioned ringing in the ears. I have tinitus (right ear - hear
"blood rushing") and it is getting worse and worse and really annoys the hell
out of me! Anyone know much about it? I've been told beta-blockers can help
but I have a very low heart rate so I can't take them.
Thanks again for the welcome! You are all great!!!!!!
Annie in San Antonio, TX (rainy and cold and nasty today)
PS - Going shopping in Mexico tomorrow!! Hope I can walk all day w/out
stumbling! I'll just drink lots of beer and blame it on that!!!
