hey are hoping to strengthen the muscles around my back, chest,
shoulders, and arms in the hope of taking the pressure off my back.
Another
thing that is being emphasized is "correct" posture and chin tucks. I
have
found the correct posture and chin tuck exercises most valuable in
helping the
pain.

Maria,
I have a partially heirnated disc in the c5-C6. I am also in physical
therapy working with bands mainly on my shoulders and back. I too have
found the chin tuck and neck exercises beneficial. My PT was able to
tell me if he could help, (he could) by evaluating my range of motion. I
am off to the Neurologist tomorrow, still not much relief from the
spasms. The cold does make them worse. Take Care,
