Well, people, you're not going to believe this but..
I spoke with Roberta Rubin, RN Coordinator at the Neurofunctional Surgery
Center this afternoon and she said that, yes, they are working on submitting a
human protocol to the hospital board and DO plan to start treatment on SCIs in
about 6 months. She said they hadn't really gotten to the point of what the
volunteering criteria will be like or how chronic, what kinds of injury, etc
but did say they would want subjects as healthy as possible (duh). She said
that although they haven't yet, she would start a list of volunteer names if
