Dear Karen,
My symptoms began a little over a year ago after both a fall and a virus. My
hands are still numb.Well, I guess you'd call it numb, or an altered sense of
touch. I can feel some textures, but not others and I can stick a pin in my
fingers and not feel anything.
Sometimes my feet feel the same way. I experience Lhermett's
Sign every time I bend my head forward. I hate it! I am now experiencing what
I think is called spasticity in both thighs. My muscles stiffen, and if I've
sat for a while it is very difficult to walk. The doctor put me on Bacolfen
10mg 3 times a day. It does seem to help. I also experience terrible bouts of
fatigue and dizziness. Understand, I'm not complaining. I realize there are
lot's of people out there that have not been as fortunate with this disease
as I have. I'm greatful to the Lord for all I can do and all I have!!!
I haven't been online for a while, so I'm not familar with your symptoms.
Feel free to write to me at my e-mail address.
Carolyn
