Hi,
I'm curious. Is this jolt at the back of the head Lhermett's Sign, an
electric sensation that goes sometimes down the spine and into the
extremities and genitals? My doctor says this can happen when the spinal cord
is affected from TM, MS, or disk problems etc. in about 3% of patients. It's
an uncomfortable feeling and often makes me feel dizzy and nauseous. I have a
neurologist who seems to believe that TM is a component of MS, but instead of
multiple leisions there is usually one leision that transverses the spine. I
get totally bewildered and overwhelmed trying to figure it out. I also have
two slightly herniated disks at C4-5 and C5-6 as well as the leision at C2-3.
My hand and feet are still numb, but functioning. I still lose my balance and
get lots of prickly feelings, and am fatigued all the time. Its been one year
since it all began. The key is to always keep faithful and smiling!!!
God is with us!!
Carolyn
