Dear Barbara,

I read your letter and I think I can answer some of your questions through
personal experience. I will address them as per your numbered paragraphs.

4. I too, have had experience with this "jolt" and it scared me also. It is
a symptom of the disease that I experienced during my second attack. My
doctor put me on a drug called Tegretol. This drug is designed to deal with
the symptoms
of the disease rather than prevention of the disease. This drug helped me
almost immediately. I would ask your doctor about it.

6. I go to a chiropracter occasionally although I dont know if it makes a
difference. I go to a massage therapist weekly which helps me immensely. I
highly recommend it.

7. My doctors tell me being overweight has nothing to do with the
disease..However... If you are disabled in any way, being thinner makes it a
LOT easier to deal with everything. I lost 70 lbs in between attacks and
noticed a big difference. I have more to lose and am more motivated since my
most recent "attack".

Finally, keep your faith in God strong. HE will not give you anything that
you cant handle. My prayers are with you. If you have any other questions,
my Email address is bax6984(AT)postoffice.ptd.net

Take care,

Michael
