My daughter was diagnosed with tm at the age of 4 months. She is now 10
months. For a long time she could not do anything, then slowly she
started
rolling over and crawling. Her legs are still somewhat stiff and she
wants to lunge back when sitting up. Because she was so young she want
see her N.S. until March, Which is a Doctor From Carolina Medical Center
in Charlotte N.C. and seems to be very very good. She seems to battle a
lot of colds now but for the most part is one of the happiest little
girls you would ever meet. Since she is to young to talk I have no idea
what she is feeling. She is trying to pull her self up now and the
physical therapist is very encouraged. The big thing is when she gets
sick we wonder if she may have a reassurance. This is because she had a
bad cold when she got sick the first time, but it is possible this
occurred from one 4 month immunization shots. One other thing is one of
her pupils is larger now but her sight has not been affected. Is there
anyone who has made an almost complete recovery. I want her to lead as
much of a normal life as possible. Right now we just trust in God, that
he will do what is best for her. I would like to hear positive news if
possible.
