To Bryan and Jim; Really liked your responces, there is room for
inprovement from an attack of TM. Thirty minutes and thirty days to see
any kind of inprovment. And I'm in much better physical condition today
than at discharge. Everything works to a degree, get around real good,
pain is manageable conpaired to yelling in frustration in the middle of
the night if you know what I mean? But the really good stuff was Bryan's
stuff about the Med trials. And by the way [adp] means nothing to me.
Could you jog my memory? / Also is it dumb to ask if you all belong to
the {American Paralysis Association}? If not why not? Doesn't matter if
you consider your self paralized or not. If your impaired to any degree
your suffering from paralysis. If you happen to be uninformed this is
the organization Chris Reeve recently became chairman of the board of.
It's not a bad thing having Hollywood backing our well being. More
money, more money, mo money!! Also the APS keeps you abrest of the
resurch, "[adp] I must not paying attention"; you can read about some
resurch into restoring the myelin to you and me. This would be a GOOD
thing. Not participating in this form would be a BAD thing. If you feel
you've been flamed by a post here, DON"T. The only people more confussed
about TM is your doctors. There pressed to give some kind of an answer
to give you time to ajust. And that's Not a bad thing. Now to my last
comment "too your relief" about the affor mentioned posts. Fight! or at
least servive. I did, Jim has, Bryan will, and so can any of you. After
all, your as much or more than anyone else. Don't short yourself, you
don't know, what you can do, what you can do. Lifes cool, and there's
still plenty to go around. O'special P.S to Jackie M. That Doc could
have treated 1500 patients, all the cases he "they" couldn't diagnos,
"which leads to other discussions about resent numbers of TM cases" but
whatever. So it's possible he treated 1500 TM's. He can call it what
ever he wants, after all, he's a doctor. Stay with us Jackie! Love and
hope. Dave
