Thank you VERY much Jim for some very encouraging comments --I'll tell
ya --I was an avid cycler and aiming to bench press 300 by Xmas 96 --and
was at 265 when I was struck down -- fortunately i have overcome my
initial depression and realize that now with the increased abdominal
strength and some encouragment from the manager at the local gym that the
bench press thing is NOT impossible even if I can't walk --but I don't care
if I walked like the tin man from the wizard of oz --got into a set of leg
braces just last Thursday (the students in prosthetics are going to use me
for a subject -ha) and it was VERY weird --hope to be like Tiny Tim
sometime in 97 and throw the damn things away --bryan

PS --also had a verrrrrrrrrrry long talk with a good friend of mine who is
an expert in infectious diseases and he and I agree that TM is sometimes a
grab bag --but he was absolutely astounded to see some of the messages
here --like the one where the MD had trouble distingusihing btwm GB and TM
--wonder what state board gave him his license ( gee my tongue seems sharp
this morning --GOOD -getting rid of anger is rule number one in Reikki )
Oh well --wouldn't life be boring if we all just had colds and ear aches
;-)
