Your comments above are "right on" and are consistent with my experieince.
I too had total paralysis, from about T-2 or 3 down. Now I can walk, but
with stiff numb legs. Recovery is slow, but seems to keep coming. Hang in,
never give up, and fight like hell.....jim f
