I got on the list to hear from others with similar symptoms so that I
didn't feel alone. But I find each case is different. My attack of
ascending numbness (toes to waist), short 9 day paralysis; now
walking slightly dragging left foot; is nothing compared to Jim Lubin-
-God bless him. I wished for some similarity to find a common
demoninator so we could report it to some hot-shot medical researcher
in hopes for prevention or cure. I hope that TM is not hereditary
(my mother had an neurological episode in her 20's - St. Vitus' Dance.
) Is my athletic 16 year old daughter prone to a possible
neurological episode? It scares me to think about it. My heart goes
out to all the people on the list - we're not alone!
