Did any of you have swelling in the limbs affected by TM at onset? Is that
limb still swollen, or has it gone down? Any idea what caused it initially
(the swelling of a limb, not the swelling on the spinal cord) and why it
would
still be swollen after a number of years?

Barbara, my lesion was at the C2/3 level and I have had problems with my
hands swelling ever since I got TM about 4 1/2 years ago. I have a lot of
nerve pain in my arms and hands and the swelling seems to get worse when
the pain is worse. I attibute it to the nerves sending the brain scambled
signal. With the swelling in my hands it makes typing difficult which is
probably why I don't contribute to the list that much. Hope this gives
