Mykella and all,

My response is that Bill always had stomach problems. He always
explained it that the stomach problems started first and the "not
walking" was caused by the original problem originating in the
stomach????? But, I can say he has a lot of stomach cramps and problems
but never had a loss of appetite until diagnosed with prostate cancer
Oct. 12, 1998. I don't think anyone ever told him the TM caused the
stomach problems but I guess it is possible. I am now wondering if his
was prostate cancer all along (maybe blocking off his bladder and making
poisons going up into his system)....but none of this applies to you.
All I can say is he had this off and on since 1971 - diagnosed with
Transverse Myelitis in 1994 - and has always complained about his
stomach more than anything. NO loss in appetite though except now he
has that on cancer medications.

I have a question while I'm on here if anyone has a thought. Bill
received something from the national MS registry, yet, to my knowledge,
he only has a diagnosis of TM. Since the VA Hospital put him on the
list - I wonder if he should answer the questions and send it in. Are
any of you joining it? I believe it is called "Narcoms" or something
like that.
