In a call to action, a National Multiple Sclerosis Society consensus statement
said people diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) can't afford to take a
"wait and see" approach to treatment. Released at the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society National Leadership Conference, the statement recommends
people pursue drug therapy as soon as possible after a definite diagnosis.
