Age at Dx: 18 current age 42
Location: I was living in Ada Oklahoma when I became Ill, however, I hac
just moved back here from Santa Cruz California 5 weeks before becoming
sick.
I still live in Ada
I was born in Tulsa Okla.
I am unsure of the doctors name who did the actual Dx. My mother new
but she is deseased. I do know he was from Mayo clinic.
The Dx was done at St Antony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
I have not had any problems with meds. I take baclofen, 30mg prn, and
only for short periods. I have taken valium, up to 30mg per day,
Currently I also take soma 10mg for sleep but not often and lortab for
pain. I only take the last two on very rare occasions.
Unusual circustances: I had a blister on the palm of my right hand
which was some what infected and I had been experiencing flu like
symptoms for over one week prior to the onset of TM.
Doctors have always been very interested in my progress and in my story.
15 years ago, a Dr. Balenger at University of Ok. had me come to the
university to meet new doctors and tell my story. They all seemed
interested but none ever contacted me again.
