Hello and welcome to the group although we're all sorry you qualify
to be in it. The side effects of Solumedrol are potentially many. Just be
prepared for anything and then you won't be surprised. The side effects
with long term use are of course worse than with short term use and usually
the treatment of tm with steroids is short term. I have a PDR and looked it
up. Side effects listed are confusion, excitement, hallucinations,
depression, mood changes, restlessness, increase in appetite, indigestion,
trouble sleeping. So be prepared and if you experience any of these, tell
yourself it's only temporary and will go away when you're off the steroids.
Good luck with the steroids. If you have any problems and need emotional
support, just send the group an e-mail and you'll get plenty of it.
