Hi Debra

Please hold on to as much good attitude as you can muster. Believe me, it is
the most important thing.

My first neuro told me that I shouldn't expect the improvements I was seeing
in my leg to continue past a year. I've read that time span may be more like
18 months. It's been 22 months and I've been continuing to progress slowly and
am starting to think that this may be it, but I can walk and have no pain and
consider myself extremely lucky compared to others.

I cannot stress enough that no matter how much better you get, the attitude is
the most precious thing you have. I'm a mom too, and know living each day with
the best attitude I can is the greatest thing I can pass on!

Good luck to you and hang in there!
Carol
