Beth - Welcome to the group. Prednisone has some yucky side effects,
but it has been very effective for many of us. Mostly you can get kind
of wired, and have mood swings. For me, sounds seemed louder, colors
were brighter, and I was jittery. You may also have trouble sleeping -
though that was not a problem for me because of some of the other meds
I'm on. The good news is that they try to get you off it as soon as
possible. Just remember to be patient and go all the way through the
tapering off process at the end. Ann
