Members of the
Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA)
and other veterans with
severe disabilities whose property
was damaged by Hurricane
Georges in Florida and Louisiana can
apply for financial assistance
from PVA, a veterans service
organization.
Veterans who qualify may be eligible
for up to $2,500 per family --
with priority given to PVA members
-- to use for transportation,
temporary shelter, food,
repairs/modifications for wheelchair
accessibility, prosthetic appliances
and medical supplies.

severe disabilities in putting their
lives back together after the trauma
of this disaster," said Homer S.
