Over the week-end we had a number of dialogues related to the
biofeedback material. At one point you forwarded Dr. Bruckers
credentials and I, in turn, sent you a short blurb on myself. In
response, you encouraged me to send the piece to the entire list.
I have given it some thought and decided that I would. Here goes.
Dr. Roger Livingston received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
He taught and Directed the Rehabilitation Counselor Training Programs at
both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of
Cincinnati. He has served aa a State and Regional President of the
National Rehabilitation Counseling Association and as a part of these
duties he served on the National Board. He conducted the original
research on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification and he has served on
the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and he
has served on the accrediting body for Rehabilitation Counselor Training
Programs. (CORE -- Council on Rehabilitation Education). He also served
as a Journal editor for the Journal of Rehabilitation. Finally, he has
served as the co-director of two national short-term training grants on
the topics of job analysis, job development, job forecasting and job
engineering. He has also given presentations on a variety of
rehabilitation related topics at the State, Regional and National level.
In recent years Dr. Livingston has been evaluating individuals with
physical and mental disabilities to determine if they can work. In
this capacity he has served as an expert witness in Federal Court, as
well as District and Circuit courts in a number of States and for
the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals of the Social Security
Administration. Since loosing his legs in 1996 he volunteers to
counsel individuals at the VA Hospital, in Cincinnati, who are about to
experience an amputation.
