Gee, I can remember when I took my first steps after just over four months
in the wheelchair full time, the hospital staff reckoned they had never seen
such a big, long continuous smile. Evidently I was still smiling while
sleeping that night. Congratulations to your mom (or mum as we say it
here), tell her to keep trying, keep positive, never loose sight of the big
picture and her goal, and she will make it.
